Members of the British Sikh Council go all around the UK collecting clothes and shoes for those who are in poverty. Every year there is a container that gets sent to India and clothes get distributed to those who need it.
We accept English clothes, sewn suits, unsewn suits, turban cloth, men’s clothes, children’s clothes, shoes, handbags and steel dishes.
PLEASE DO NOT DONATE PILLOWS AND DUVETS.
There are donation charity containers in different parts of the UK for clothes to be donated to. They are available at different locations including Gurdwaras. The container to look out is shown below
